Ippikins rock, a great place for an evening climbing

Writer's picture: Rich Amor-WilkesRich Amor-Wilkes

If you've never been to Ippikins it's a bit of a local gem. It's not sufficient to attract climbers from far afield but it's about 40min from Wolverhampton, so it's one of our local crags.

It has 50 routes from Diff to E3 - Ippikins Rock on UKC

It's close enough that we can make it there for an evening climbing, and that is exactly what we did last week.

About 8 of us turned up and had a good few hours of climbing before dusk. It was great to see some old faces and some new ones too!

If you are interested in coming along to the next one look out for a club email or get in touch with us.
